Would someone be able to report it at Battle Creek please? Since I drove all the way to Durand yeterday (8/24/10) and didn't see it, I would like my Dad who lives in Battle Creek get some pics. Thanks very much.

I'm a little late in posting this but about an hour ago, both Pat and Scott reported that O915 was stopped at Potterville for at least 2 to 3 hours.

ABOUT 7:45 PM THE BIG LOAD WAS JUST E. OF BELLEVUE.

THEY SHOULD BE IN BATTLE CREEK BY NOW AND WILL SPEND THE NIGHT THERE.

THEY CHANGED CREWS IN POTTERVILLE AND THEN SAT THERE FOR 3 HOURS.
WE GOT TO MEET THE ENTIRE CREW AND THEY ARE A GOOD BUNCH OF PEOPLE.
THE CAR BOSS SAID THE LOAD WAS SMALL    AND EASY TO TRANSPORT.
IT IS 650 TONS AND HE SAID 800 IS THEIR MAX.
----650 IS SMALL ???

Fun time today, crew was very informative. said its going to take 4-5 weeks to reach its destination. The reactor that is being transported is for Sour Crude refining, high in sulfer.

Don't know if it has departed Battle Creek yet, but my dad went to look for it at about 7:30am this morning (8/26). He said he would call me to let me know if it was still there, so I'll post back soon (hopefully).

If Aaron's schedule posted just above your post is correct Dave, the car won't be leaving Battle Creek today as it's a rest day. Friday the 27th is when it'll get underway again.

Hold the phone - my Dad just spoke to a CN employee he know, just now in Battle Creek - the guy says they are moving it out this morning! I guess we will see, but just wanted to let everyone know.

Hi Guys, This is my first post.
JUST AARON.....why are you listing Joliet?? Supposedly, fencing has been removed at La Grange Park on the BNSF. Utility wires have also been repositioned. A trucking firm has arranged to park their vehicles elsewhere this weekend. If this is true, I am anticipating the move going through Hammond, IN, Dolton Jct, Blue Island, nice places closeby to me.

David - welcome on board!

I'll let Just Aaron answer as to where he got that info - but based on the inaccuracy of it so far I wouldn't put much stock in it. (i.e. yesterday wasn't a "rest day" and the timings are all off) I don't have any knowledge myself but am curious on the Chicagoland routing and beyond so hopefully people continue to update/track it and report here.

Regards,
Michael
