CN 5854 was sitting south of 8 Mile on the west track around 2pm with about a dozen mixed freight. Likeley 524. Possibly meeting a southbound at Nolan.

X391 was into Pontiac around 2am. CN 5351 solo.

116 arrived into Moterm at 2:45am. CN 5675 leading, with a Dash 9 trailing.

CN 5854 was sitting south of 8 Mile on the west track around 2pm with about a dozen mixed freight. Likeley 524. Possibly meeting a southbound at Nolan.

This should be referred to as "GTW 5854." It is in CN paint─but still has GTW reporting marks!

767 was at Beaubien waiting for Amtrak 350 before heading onto the Holly Sub. CN 2405 and CN 2537 on 767.

385 just reported south of Nolan.

CN 5351 was southbound on the Holly through Royal Oak at 3:40pm with a short train, 3 cars.

513, GTW 4901 is working at Moterm.

Those railfanning the MTC sub yesterday (Tues - 8/21/12), were rewarded with a near record 17 trains in a 24 hour period. Trains operated were: 524S

Today, more of a normal schedule. Incidently, the constant locals shuttling yesterday were mostly hot lumber loads for Detroit (per Homewood Dispatcher).

Fire call came in this morning about 8:25am for structure fire at grain complex next to CN main in Charlotte,MI. Drove near CN main about 8:50am and noticed aerial firetruck was parked right next to main with possible CN rail truck located nearby. Have heard no rail traffic since this time, assuming westbound Amtrak was held up east of Charlotte due to closure.
