Boy did they have a fun time north of Durand, Snowing, and running notch 8 and sand thru Lennon just to stall on the hill north of Durand Too their luck, 2661 was the yard engine in Dooorand, so that saved them.

I was mistaken, they only set out in Alma, 11 cars, mostly tanks. I think there were about 6 cars of poles on the head end. The rest was mostly grain for Shepherd and Rosebush.

This time of year the tank cars could be asphalt for Terry Materials (most likely) or fertilizer for CPS.

Was right next to Wenova yard this evening while on a job. I saw #5086, 9580 (New GP40-2WL), 5175, And some red SW1500 Idling.

Evan, 5086, 9580, 5175 and the switcher are sitting in what is more or less the dead/out of service line. Chances are you heard another engine idling behind that group.

I don't believe 5086 is OOS yet, just this past week it was on the 702 job. 5175 is a different story..But thank you for the information. By chance, do you know how long they've had that SW?
