CN Train Location Updates 02/24/13 - 03/02/13

116 with a solo SD75I through Okemos at 1545

Sounds like 4908 was 950 and they are at Moterm now and just happenend to go to Milwaukee Jct to work at East Yard or turn the train or both.

513 with GTW 4622 is also working Moterm.

The CN 5759 is 524 and the GTW 4619 was likely broke down. Sounds like they are waiting for 385 with CN 2579 to clear Nolan before returning north.

950 is stalled at MP 21. They will be leaving the intermodal on main 2 and then continuing to Pontiac. 513 will pickup the intermodal later.

A loaded auto rack heading w/b out of Battle Creek yard, with rare (around here) CSX power, CSX 5218 and 9031. Another w/b lined to run behind it, a mixed freight lead by BCOL 4622 with IC 1025 in the 2nd slot.

GTW 4927 working in the yard, haven't seen it in BC in a while. GTW 4923, 4919 in the yard as well, all 3 still in GT blue. GTW 4626 in CN livery also working the yard.

Also an e/b long mixed freight entering BC yard with CN 2233, 2195, 2643 as power. Another mix leaving the yard e/b CN 5634 leading IC 1016.

Hmmmmm....why is a plane taking off from the CN Battle Creek Yard? Wait! Its no plane, just CN firing up the jet blower to clean the yard tracks and switches! Don't get to see it used very often, but you certainly can hear the sound from a ways away! Pretty Awesome IMHO!

513, GTW 4908, went south through Birmingham at 2:30 with 17 cars.

513 and 391, IC 1027 leading, through Birmingham at 8:45.

GTW 4915 clear on Lansing thoroughfare mill to hope after 9064 passes.

Detector 219.5 just called out something eastbound w/676 axles. Must be BNSF 9064.
