Does anyone know if today is the day for the train to Hamilton and what time it might run?

As of 8:15am: Amtrak p37104 west at Vriesland, D70004 west at Jenison. D700 has to turn their power around the wye in Holland as both engines are currently facing west. Dispatcher mentioned someone was down by New Buffalo that sounded to be headed east, but sounded like it wasn't a coal train, so dunno what it was.

Also heard there was a W00103 geometry train that ran from OH to Plymouth yesterday, and is either going to Detroit or Grand Rapids today as W00104.

Lite power called for 11am to go east out of Grand Rapids, not for grain though.... maybe she means west for Doktor's E445/e446 to go to West Olive for eastern empties?

rhburn3, hope they go to hamilton today, i'm trying to listen in as best as I can here in Holland... if you hear them going south, please post. I haven't managed to hear Y121 ask for permission to unlock at the Hamilton Branch at all since the new signals went in.

Tuesdays and Thursdays are Hamilton days for y121. They usually make the run in the morning.

Y10604 with CSXT 8068 leading heading east out of GR currently. Dispatcher said with all the trackwork on track #2 between the yard and Seymour, will likely be running wrong main most of the year. D70704 is out somewhere around Lake Odessa - 10:33am

E44603 light power coming out of house in GR, going to go lite to West Olive to get eastern empties.
Spinning their power around in GR as of 1:04pm, CSXT 7813 leading at the moment.
Y10604 left some tracklights on between Alto and Fox, walking their train at Fox currently - 1:05pm.

It was hard to tell in the dark, but it looked like the Hamilton Branch now sports an automatic turnout to the Holland Pass. I know the dock track is still manual though.

Appears you are right.. E44603 spun their power at the Amtrak depot downtown Grand Rapids, and are eastbound at Fox as of 1:22pm. Just used to E445/E446 getting their empties at West Olive instead of Lansing.

There is a northbound CSX train going through Grand Blanc rigvht now. It has one Csx engine and two passenger cars. Would this be the geometry train mentioned earlier?

D707 had a stop signal eastbound at Seymour at 1354. Waiting for Y106 to get back in the pass at Fox.
E446 east at Snow Rd with a restricted proceed and 1356.

E446 Passed through Woodbury at about 14:31. A single lite engine.

D707 Passed through Woodbury a few minutes later around 14:45. Single unit leading 10 cars: A CH, 2 gons, 3 loaded centerbeams and 4 CH's of various sizes on the rear.

There is a eastbound coal train going through Webberville right now with a single Csx engine leading. It met E945 at Williamston.
