Think that's the train I'm hearing on the scanner at about 17:15. Pretty garbled so far though.

Strange, K931 should be for the empty stone train. Perhaps they are going to get the MUS coal empties too and combine the trains.

A CSX Dash 8 and a former BN SD40-2 are sitting on the West End, most likely the power for tonight's 327. 8516 and 4710 are sitting on the fuel pad. 2659 and 2692 drilling the east end

19:39 EDT: Holland Yard Job heading to Zeeland and back, plan on making 112th Ave again before Amtrak.
19:41 EDT: Y297 is going to head south and into the Old 17 track, then back to the Hughart Runner. Not sure if they're interchanging with GDLK, seems like they'd take the east leg if they were going to do that??

As seen from the I-196 overpass.
I guess so!
Yep. After getting this shot at 133rd Ave, I booked it up to M40 and then headed west on 196 to the overpass. I parked on the shoulder and got my shot. :D

Yeah, that's exactly what the scanner traffic sounded like. The light power arrived at Ensel. Did some work assembling their train, then headed to MSU and started three stepping.

What I'm presuming is 327, west through Hudsonville 2335.

That picture of the BNSF train on the embankment...how current is that?
I was up there a couple of weeks ago, and don't remember seeing any graffiti, just signs saying that the area is monitored by video surveillance, and defacing the bridge will lead to prosecution.
I didn't see any cameras, power wires for cameras, solar panels, or any indication of cameras. Are there really cameras there?

Guessing its not real recent judging by the snow on the ground.

Jeff...look closely again at the photo and you'll see an obvious clue (aside from the graffiti and SOO engine) as to when this might NOT have been taken.

And no, there are no cameras...it's all a bunch of hooey! I've walked around that area several times since they put those inked messages on the bridge abutments and I haven't been able to spot any cameras.

I didn't think there were any cameras. If there were, they should be aimed at the tracks...would make some awesome train videos.
