CN Updates April 2016

Westbound solid autorack train on Track 1 in Port Huron. Leader is CN 2121. Has a second unit too, but it caught me by surprise and all I caught was the lead unit. Sorry, I don't have my scanner either and don't know the symbol.

There's another westbound sitting at the west end of the yard, apparently still waiting to go west...

I was wondering the same thing. I got back from Florida on Sunday and I see it hasn't been online since then.

GTW #4906 and EJ&E #667 are in Battle Creek, Michigan as of yesterday (April 13th), and appear to be yard switchers. I also caught CN #5434 (one of the old Oakway units) on a westbound local train by Franklin Iron and Metal, leading long hood forward!

950, CN Painted 4904 was north by Hamtramck at 2.10pm with 2 boxcars and a cut of tankers.

Word is 513, CN Painted 4925 switched Red Lava this evening.

Spotted CN #451 N.B. at Delray Interlocking in Detroit, MI @ 1220 on April 20, 2016. Power is CN 2605, 2601. elephant style.

CN #451 N.B. on the Holly Subdivision at M.P. 8 Greendale Ave) in Detroit, MI @ 1340 on April 21, 2016. Lead unit is CN 8880 plus two more. Third unit is full-carbody unit.

Yesterday (4-21) I photographed southbound train 385 crossing 15 Mile, Clinton TWP. at 3:42 p.m. It had CN ES44ACs #2933, 2911 with 106 cars!!!!

DARN CN AGAIN!!!! Last week, Tuesday 4-12, I saw northbound local 524 with CN SD75I #5632 and two cars around 6 p.m., Masonic, Fraser! It ran "Long Hood Forward!"
Just before I saw, they dropped off one boxcar at Great Lakes Recycling®! I watched the train and was out for a "Crushing" bike ride!!!! The same CN SD75I went to pick
up the single boxcar on train 524, Thursday 4-14! It ran "Nose Forward" returning to Pt. Huron!

Man I don't understand them using "High Horsepower" locos for the local! Yuck, keep using GTW power!!!! Last year (2015), I saw "Big CN" locos on train 524, Feb 10, 22, 23!
