Honestly not sure. Just repeating what I heard. If that was an Intermodal, I'm sad for missing it.

Q385 was at alto at 00:05. Caught them at the M-50 crossing.

Q384 was putting their train together; they were ready to go and pulling at Godfrey at about 00:25.

385 was going to be tight on time and couldn't fit anywhere between Seymour and Pleasant Street with out blocking crossings so RN was crossing them over to track 2 so they wouldn't die on track one and block Amtrak in the morning in case they didn't make it on hours of service.

That's all the news I overheard on my drive home from the airport tonight.

They are, but often they'll recrew D708 if they don't make it back.

WB at South Lyon, they called out "S335".

The horn you heard in Howell last night around 7:50pm, J3rsdm5, was GLC heading south to Osmer. The S335 you reported was by Howell at 15:30 with 10,000 feet of train and 165 cars, Power was CSX 3107 leading, 372 trailing. Currently stopped at Fowlerville blocking crossings at school bus time waiting for the G016 crew to bring a Webberville grain load into the pass at Fowlerville. Earlier today, V77806 went west to Grand Ledge or into GRP, if not just holding somewhere for Webberville after the load there gets moved out.

With 10,000 feet of train on S335 today, and Q38508 coming, looks like for the second night in a row, Q384 will have to hold at GRP a LONG TIME again to move east waiting for S335 to get in. unless they are much shorter than the 140 cars they had on last night. Speaking of, the two BNSF units on Q384 last night was 5762 & 5662. They didn't make it to Howell until 11:30pm. By that time, GLC had already gone back north, returning from Osmer.

V778 came to GR, 90 car grain train for Newaygo on MQT. Z151 is taking it north tonight.

Q327 left this evening with 4756, 4536 and 95 cars. Q384 departed around 23:00. Z151 had 3406, 81, 3408 and is picking up MMRR 2057 from Muskegon in Wyoming.

Probably Q38411 who was by Howell at 03:58, with CSX 4715 and NS 6772, Both units facing east. 107 cars. Earlier, D707 left Howell at 1am with 25 cars after re-crewing D708 at Brighton. 3255+881 was the power.

D708 got clear from the dispatcher, said they are picking an engine up and heading back to Williamston.

Dispatcher was talking to Q385 who stalled at Sheldon Road in Plymouth.

Dispatcher asked D708 if they can help pull, they accepted. Q385 declined, couldn't make out what they said.
