L515 was working the Turkey Trail (Polyterm/Gillen Yard) on the MTC sub at 10:00.

M383 was doing the zig/zag at Aubin and Avery avoiding work blocks at 10:30. CN 3070 in the lead.

I believe 383 is currently the only MTC train still running in the M300 series. All others have been truncated and are temporarily running under A400 designations - A482,484 and 485 - This, from CN in Homewood.

  YEZZ!!!!!!!  I just photographed southbound train CN X149 with CN ET44AC #3200 and "SHINY-NEW" "Demonstrator" EMDX SD70ACe-T4 with 52 loaded "Well Car" sets, cleared Stephens Road, Warren, 5:13 p.m.!!!! WOW!!!! Now, what train is this? :?: Is it like the old 533? Man o' War, I see the "Temporary" changes listed above. Any other changes? Earlier, around 4:40 p.m., I looked at "Heritage Units" and noticed EMDX 7201 was reported on train X149 in Pt. Huron waiting for a "Re-crew," 3:08 p.m. It would pass near me going to MoTerm! I thought "GET TO THE TRACKS" since it didn't come by yet! Gates were flashing at Kelly Road─ saw the engines and went "Chasing" to Stephens! "WHEW!!!!"

"Heritage Units" link for EMDX 7201: https://heritageunits.com/locomotive/detail/EMDX7201

Is X149 going to be going up the Holly sub or is it going to be coming back up the mount Clemens sub? It's usually a Flint sub train isn't it?

149 normal is Toronto to Chicago via the flint sub but they've been setting off and picking up in flint for a while now. 514 usually shuttles flint to moterm and back. My guess would be it will just run to moterm but someone else may know better. If 149 was already so big it was pushing into an extra it would make sense to shave off all the moterm cars and just turn it at port huron

So I have never heard of 149 or even a X-149 rolling down the Mt. Clemens Sub, but if indeed there was one has reported, then it may have been just an extra for Moterm. Now, if this intermodal train had more containers than just for Moterm, to me it would make more sense to run it North on the Holly Sub back to Durand to turn West for Chicago, but who knows. This is the railroad and what may seem to be common sense to a railfan is not necessarily what we will actually see happen. I will post if I see an extra go North. BTW - why did they not just set off in Flint like the regular 149 does for 514 to handle? Another question for minds on the board greater than myself.

X-149 by Linden at 9:15pm. Its too dark to see, but I can see the reflection from the railroad crossing to our North, reflecting off the cars and its definitely an intermodal train. He is by the detector at 56.2 as I am typing this with 344 axles, moving along at 41mph.

A484 just went by 10 mile. Looks like another northbound will be coming behind it. I see the train light looking down the tracks
