Wow… not often do I get to hear 326 as I’m leaving for work. M326 clear Grandville.

M326-16 @ 02:06:20 eastward was at the W. Monroe Street crossing Bangor, Mi cam mp CG60.72 with CSX engines #5290 + #258 & 65 cars. These are the same engines that were on M327-16.

M327-17 @ 06:49 Grand Rapids, Mi job briefing with the RN Dispatcher: CSX engines #258 + #5290 & 136 cars (74 loads + 62 empties) @ 11,513 tons & 7,482 feet long. They're starting to build their train at this time.

Amtrak P371-17 @ 07:00 went into Emergency at mp CG27.4 that was caused by a passenger pulling the Emergency Brake cord in a passenger car, opening the door & jumping off the train & running towards the rear of the train, the Conductor is in pursuit of this person & the police have been notified. Conductor had also said it looked like that guy also had stopped to take pictures of the train.

Amtrak P371-17 @ 07:00 went into Emergency at mp CG27.4 that was caused by a passenger opening a door & jumping off the train & running towards the rear of the train, the Conductor is in pursuit of this person & the police have been notified.

This is interesting because it took P371-17 12 minutes to get from mp CG20.67 to the Holland MI depot mp CG25.3 normally it only takes 7 to 8 minutes. I wonder if this passenger was on board out of Grand Rapids and was being unruly on the way which caused the train to slow down.(I thought the train may have stopped along the way)

Note: Edit @ 07:34 I was informed that the train was having PTC issues between Zeeland and Holland.

Amtrak P371-17 @ 07:24 was on the move again westward & reported from mp CG30. The "jumper passenger" had ran away & Amtrak was advised to get their train back on the move & not to wait around for the police to show up. Amtrak had provided a description of that person to Dispatch.
