08:42 update, not dead! Clear signal at WE Fox, on the move, 3054 trailing with 116 cars by my count. Train is actually the U302 recrew.

This was L302-10 that had tied down at Fox this morning.

Yesterday's L302-10 when traveling at restricted speeds between South Lyon and Fowlerville due to the code line outage, and already slowing further for the red block at Ann Pere, came across and individual laying on the ballast close to the rail. Crew stopped the train without going into emergency. They did not know if they had hit him or not. Police were called but by the time the conductor got back to him he was upright and standing. While more than likely just drunk, all ended well for both the crew and the individual and the crew without not much further delay beside all the red blocks.
