M326 in Grandville at Ivanrest at 6:52am. Leading engine 3076 and 526 trailing at the end.
M327 is also in Grandville waiting just before Ivanrest.

M327-21 has CSX #358 + CSX #5265 leading today. CSX #358 has a broken heater so they are sending that engine straight to Chicago. M327 has to wait due to Amtrak. Once Amtrak reaches solid distance from M327, he can start going as well. It also takes a while for a dead stop train to start moving again
M326’s engine will be used for L303-21; CSX #3076 and CSX #526. M326 will have to wait until M327 passes by.
All train crews are required to call out locations. East End Hudsonville is mp 12.0. West End Hudsonville is mp 14.0

This is sure a long wait for Amtrak to get distance. I've watched 327 leave within 15 minutes of Amtrak passing by. It's been nearly an hour that Amtrak went through Hudsonville. They're supposed to call them but I was following right along 326 and not once did my scanner go off. So wasn't sure if I missed something or my scanner is being dumb. Even at Ivanrest engine for M326 right in front of me and and nothing on my scanner.

Another thing that's gets me is I never pickup the dispatcher. Then again I'm also using my "rubber ducky" antenna. Once I get my bigger scanner and antenna in the car it might be different. M327 is still waiting I guess for the air system. They're 172 cars long. They're having issues with the air system pumping the lines.
They're saying on the radio they're probably wanting them to move this amount of cars before the storm.
Sounds like they're gonna reduce M327 down to 150 cars.
At this point I will be ending my adventure to get home and sleep. Worked all night.

Mike, you are listening to 160.230 8 Road for CSX for the locomotive road talk, and 160.635 35 Dispatcher RL (Grand Rapids Sub) for dispatcher talk on the west end, right? Also need to program in 160.320 14 Dispatcher RM (Plymouth Sub).
