11:25 - OSTN is SB outta Durand with 382/329/396/395. Will have the loaded grain train from Oakley as well as 50-odd other empties for AARR.
There’s a ton of cars waiting for them at Ann Pere when they get back to Howell.

No sorry I just didn’t throw the first two on there. I was chasing something else and had a brain fart.
Post corrected.
They did bring 140 cars to Osmer.
They also dropped 25 loads from ZFS off in Durand for CN. Done seen it on a video

Nice video. Thank you for posting.
Couple boservations:
- That bench seat about 5' from the tracks is a heck of a place to put it
- I notice the railroad ties are loaded nice and neat in some gondolas and others they are just thrown in a big mess

I just went by the GLC engine house in Cadillac and there are three engines by the engine house all coupled together.
On Sunday the third locomotive was not connected to the two they used on the McBain turn yesterday.

Yesterday, OSTN was NB thru Zukey Lake Tavern at 17:50 with 399/385/329/382. Picked up over 100 from Osmer including a CSX-system grain train for MAC Middleton. With the 30-loaded car restriction on the Middleton Branch since last year’s derailment, it’s gonna take a while to pull this train back to Ashley.
Later last night as GLC was NB on Durand, they fouled the diamond and forced Amtrak to wait. CN Desk Ocho was big mad.

What do they carry up on those runs in terms of cars? Not really familiar with GLC so I’m just curious.AANscaleRunner wrote: ↑Fri Jul 07, 2023 10:26 amHearing them leave Cadillac towards Clare at 1025.

Re: GLC Train Location Updates - July 2023
Lots of tank cars (butane & LPG) and gondolas (mostly scrap wood ties but also a few with scrap metal). Centerbeams (loads going both ways), feed covered hoppers. plastic pellet covered hoppers, cement covered hoppers, regular tanks cars (leachate and methanol), telephone poles and a few carloads of fertilizer every now and then. The typical train leaving Cadillac for Clare is usually around 20-40 cars.

I thought I missed something. Thanks KC8RBK. AFAIK they still transload coke but its now done at the feed place rather than from Selma Yard and only around three cars per week.
