Kalamazoo County Dispatch posted this on FB about an hour ago:

“ All Canadian National railroad crossings in the Village of Vicksburg are currently blocked by a train. The intersections will be shut down for an undetermined amount of time. Please seek an alternate route. Further questions can be directed to Vicksburg PD.”

399, 383, and what looks like a Q139 is still in PH.
14:45 - WB Q139 with CN 2894/CN 3220 thru Durand on M2 - had a red/blinking y/blinking y for a signal

Work block is still in effect around Morrice so M396, Q116 and A492 are all holding between Shaftsburg and maybe Okemos.

15:31 - WB M399 with CN 2227/CN 2547 on M1 at Durand - they will pull behind WB Q139 which is holding at Vernon. EB M396 or A492 is on M1 between Bancroft and Vernon.

Will be meeting a northbound mixed freight with CN ?+CN 8868+CN 8894+CN 8846 (possibly A484) that went by the Fort Street cam at 15:37 and Wyandotte at 15:47 at the Ecorse siding.

17:02: M383 finally through Wyandotte.

L515 southbound by Royal Oak at 5:24 with a nice size train. I couldn’t get the engine number but I’m pretty sure it was 5417 up front.

515 until further notice is now an evening/night time train due to trackwork on the Mount Clemens Subdivision. They also appear to be doing L513’s work in Pontiac Yard putting 507/508’s cuts together.

Whether they do 513’s work on the mainline is unknown, I’ll report back later when they come north.

Gonna correct this in a new post instead of editing the old one. Spoke to someone higher up the food chain.

This IS 513. But doing 515’s work. They are working Hoover, Conrail and 513 is doing it’s normal South Holly work as well.

This is to last a few days while some major MoW work (unused switches being removed and some other repairs) is being undertaken on the MTC.

SB M383 has CN 3023 (EJ&E HU) leading - last known is Port Huron at 09:15
YESS!!!!! :D I got train 383 at 15 Mile Road, Clinton TWP. (near Goo® explosion place) around 2:34 p.m. It had CN "EJ&E Heritage" ET44AC #3023 and CN AC44C6M #3306 (rebuilt C44-9W) with 96 cars!!!!! Why did it take so long to get here from Port Huron? LansingRailfan, I saw your post earlier, but thought the train was gone! Very cool because I saw it unknowingly!

Here's a video (© BK's Trains) of this train 383 at New Haven, MI, June 11, 2024: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bJUQXPo3DOQ

19:06 - WB E251 thru Charlotte.

19:08 - WB L543 with CN 8834/CN 8875 departing Cory Yard for Potterville where they will hold for EBs

19:12 - WB M397 is at Okemos and will run M2 and then take the Lansing Thorofare at CP Cedar. Desk 10 is struggling right now to stay afloat with all of the traffic congestion and added responsibilities since they got rid of Desk 8. M397 will hold at Hope as EB R934 with CN 5423 light power heads back to Snow Yard. Once they clear up, M397 will get the signal at Hope and run the Thorofare/M1 to Maple, holding behind L543.

The trackwork is being done in advance of some major changes coming to the MTC sub later this year. Things are about to get busy. BTW, the L513 symbol was reported as working 515's train yesterday by somebody on this board - can't remember who...

Pretty sure it was you

I got conflicting reports but I messaged someone that’s high up the food chain and got things cleared up.
