Grand Elk SB horns heard in the distance around Wyoming, Mi at 2:39pm

Grand Elk south through Byron Center at 2:48pm. WAMX 4206 solo with 9 covered hoppers. They were indeed northbound around noon as you posted.

The Grand Elk just went by the Elkhart VR cam at 8:16am with WAMX 4189 and WAMX 4209 leading 39 cars back towards Kalamazoo. It consisted of box cars, covered hoppers, tank cars and 3 loaded center beams.

Back south through Byron Center at 2:47pm with 27 cars, WAMX 4125 and 4190 for power. Mostly boxcars, some tank cars, and a loaded scrap gon.

They have an equally large, if not larger, northbound manifest tied down at the Nelson Farm Market layover spot as of this evening. Northbound power is 3413, 3406, a yellow geep, and 3408.

This train was northbound into Baldwin a little before 11:30, now they are southbound near Big Star Lake Road at 12:25.

JAIL ran south again on Saturday in the day light. Had two by the office, boxcar and a tank car, and they usually pick up cars staged at Michigan Psckaging on their way down to Jackson.

11:50 - NB JAIL Z646-17 at Kalamazoo Street with 823/822 and 6 cars - 2 tank cars and 4 CSX coil cars.

12:45 - HESR 702 SB at Flushing with 3509/3415/3390/3484 - most like two of these will be left in Durand for the loaded potash train that GLC is bringing north today.

AARR did run a loaded potash train from Toledo to Osmer yesterday with CP 8915/CP 8101 on the NB trip. They went back light power after splitting the train in two.
