L301-10 @ 10:50 Grand Rapids, Mi mark up with the RN Dispatcher: CSX engines #4057 + #8801 & 39 cars (35 loads + 4 empties) @ 4,788 tons & 2,477 feet long. He’ll head westward for work at Buzzi Cement mp CG5.2 & then he’ll go into Waverly mp CG22.8 & later westward to Hartford mp CG68.7 & to Sawyer mp CG105.2

L303-10 @ 12:43 Grand Rapids mark up with the RN Dispatcher: CSX engines #5358 + #7041 (elephant style) & 101 cars (56 loads + 45 empties) @ 8,897 tons & 6,167 feet long. He’s building his train & has work for Lansing - final destination is Detroit. He is a "Key Train" (hazardous).

L302-10 @ 16:03 Rougemere Yard/Detroit mark up with the RN Dispatcher & what sounded like: CSX engine #916 + 1 & 94(?) cars (55? loads + 39? empties). He's doubling up his train at this time. Static & the lower volume when the train crew is speaking makes it difficult to understand.

Unidentified train passing westbound through Zeeland Michigan @ 04:18

R597-10 @ 04:21 eastward reported by the Defect Detector mp CG19.1 Zeeland, Mi with 18 axles. CSX engines #846 + #3133 + 1 lite power. From what I could gather, R597-10 had taken the loaded coal train C800-10's "pusher power" after stopping their train at the west leg of the Wye in Holland, cutaway the "pusher engines" from the train & head into Grand Rapids...

To clear up any confusion for the record, R597 crew met C80010 at EE GD Jct. Upon arrival, found that 3133 would not start due to battery issues. Put the CSX units together with the BN 6048 before C800 arrived. They then added all 3 behind the 9294 to get C800 up the hill. R597 rode along in the CSX 846 to the west leg of the wye, where C800 cut away and ducked into the wye to let the 3 units pass east on the main to GR.

At GR, M327 and R597 worked together at Lamar on the main/service to get the power shuffled into position so both crews could get the power needed to continue their day.

Thank you for the additional information and clearing everything up pudgy. I was confused as hell this morning. I did not know which train I was seeing and couldn’t even tell which way R597 was heading.

Note: in my defense the train (R597) did wake me up out of a dead sleep.

L302-10 has been working Plymouth for nearly 2:30 now, not lined at the WE of Brighton as of 20:34.

22:22 - L302-10 making their way thru South Lyon after nearly four hours of work in Plymouth. L303-10 holding in the siding the whole time.
22:40 - L302-10 west thru EE Brighton with 916 and 5495* leading 82 cars (340 axles). CSXT 483301* and ..251 in the mix.
I had neglected to mention that L303 had CSXT 483185 in the consist today.
