just before this I heard on the scanner Y122 heading to Zug Island from Rouge. Their cars were on 20, 21 and 23
so K357 will leave sometime today.

Can anybody in Grand Rapids confirm that CSX SD40-2 8046 was the trailing unit behind 9026 on Q335-14 this morning. A new repaint if it was.

I can confirm that 8046 and 9026 were both on Q33514 this morning and arrived in GR, but haven't physically seen the engines.

CSX 9026 & 8046 are sitting at the west end of Wyoming Yard. It looks like the yard job is getting ready to head to Grandville with a couple of box cars for PCA and a load of lumber for Standale Lumber.... and a caboose!

Y121 was hanging around Zeeland about 5:30 ish and headed back towards Holland a bit ago.

Question: If the tie train has been working around west michigan picking up all the junk ties, has anyone heard when they are going to start track work again, because there are still a lot of new ties laying all over that they dropped last November
