While the Holly is drawing most of the attention today, the Mount Clemens Sub is still up and running.

CN 8837 south just cleared a track authority, while GTW 4918 just obtained one. TD2 was also talking about a 277, but the reception wasnt the greatest so I was able to get bits and pieces.

148 departed Markham Yard at 20:10 last night with CN 2295 IC 1029 CN 8802 and 120 cars 11000 tons. was reported that 148 was carrying 392s traffic as well.

491 is re crewing at Hilton Rd.

382 is heading up to Nolan, CN 8837 leading. There was a big accident on Van Dyke while cars were waiting for the train to pass. A full sized van hit 4 other cars, with the wreckage catching fire. This was why TD2 was asking if the crossing at Van Dyke was completely clear.

384 is following behind 382.

382 is just north of Mount Clemens with the CN 5680 leading, and will be meeting 385 with the 2641 leading at Haven.

383 is at East Yard getting ready to head south after a pickup there.

TA 8007 and 8009 for 382 to Tappan.

TA 8011 for 385 at Haven. effective 1628.

Amtrak 352 - 26 and 90215
Amtrak 350/355 - 33, 127

384 - CN 2512, 2290, GTW 5815 and 4903.
385 - 2641 solo. had a crew swap w/ 384 at Beaubien around 7:45pm.
491 - 5643 and 5688. Left from Moterm around 8pm.

While coming back from a call on the fire dept. this morning around 4 a.m. I could hear from the west an incoming train. I believe there were 3 engines leading a really good mix of freight and intermodal, but they were moving pretty fast so no numbers to report. Haven't seen going that fast in some time, easily 50+ mph.

A little late, but better than never.

Amtrak 350 and 355 - 127 up, 90222 back
Amtrak 352 - 28 leading.

144 - 2591 Track warrant 8022, from Nolan to Tappan affective 1827
384 - 2565, 8840. There was a crew swap with 385 at Conant 1845
385- 2436, 5680
X385 - Was running on the Shared Assets around 1800. 5685 leading.

No sign of 490 or 491 from me today.

491 had a sweet BC Rail engine on it 4626 on the 30th.

Does anyone know what was going on with the Holly main one between Royal Oak and Pontiac? There was a short train that went through on main one around 3:45. After that all the Amtraks and other freight trains where on track number two.

I heard a conversation on my scanner between TD2 and a maintainer at ~17:15 about a signal at Yellow Cab being stuck on stop, and that it should be added to his list. It sounded like some kind of electrical problem went through the system earlier today, and a lot of things got hit. TD2 had to talk Amtrak 355 past the stop indication a little later.

490 working Pontiac at 09:45, CN 2515 leading 2640. Picking up 6 cars. Lots of autoracks in the consist, the ones on the head end are loaded, not sure about farther down.

CN 148 departed Markham Yd 22:10 last night CN 5656, IC 2709, CN 5788, IC 1019* and CN 2626* 156 cars 14915 tons and 9833 feet in length. 148 is combining with 392 for the trip to Toronto. the * denotes the latter locos are destined for Mac Yard for repairs

Train 490 was at Moterm around 12:30pm. Power is CN 2515 and 2640.

33 led the Disney Christmas Carol train over the Michigan Line to Dearborn today, for those who haven't seen that thread. This was due to the ITCS on the AML west of Kalamazoo, which Amtrak can't seem to decide what to do with. It was supposed to be suspended again, but I guess they turned it back on?? Who knows...

491 just got the signal for the Holly. Sounds like they are making a pickup at Moterm.
