Like it was already mentioned, CR wanted to run the train since 300am but the NS didn't (maybe crew shortage), so there it sat. Right now the crew is at CP West Detroit wying the power.
Yes i know this but the point is,i know how railroads work. They don't just call a crew for a train and then say " F it,we're canceling it". Point being: Don't say "NS crew called for xxx" unless you are sure. Thats like me saying "yeah the train is back in Rouge,i think it will will in a few hours so i assume the NS crew is called for 0300

I've seen CSX call crews to take coal empties from west olive, and upon arrival, the crew instead does coal load pusher duty. So crews can get set to do other jobs... Let's not ywll at a guy trying his best to relay info for us in terms of heads up. Charlie, you should understand by now that what we hear via scanner can change often enough by the time the train is set to leave. I've heard dispatchers say a train would be ready to leave at 1pm, and a crew won't go on duty till 5 or so due to scheduling issues.

Reading and Lehigh Valley went by Erie about 7:50pm, were heading to Airline Yard in Toledo pretty quick. Beyond that, I have nothing else I can report about them.

You're welcome, I ended up waiting out there since 3:30pm in hopes of catching them, and over the last 3 days I invested 21 hours trying to see it.

That is dedication. I did the easy way. I went to Chicago for National Railroad Day.

Outbound was already called in Toledo for them when they left Rouge.

I invested one hour, because I knew when it was actually coming.

I actually could of waited, but I was running on a odd sleep schedule over fear they could of left this morning or something like that. Plus I would of got bored and do other things, thus I'd miss the report by too much (in theory).

1067 & 8104 are sitting at Klines yard in Bellevue this morning, a little bit east of Flat Rock Rd/CR 308. I took this from the cul-de-sac on Highland Ave.

According to Trainorders, they turned the power around and it's going to be heading back west towards Ft Wayne (through Toledo?)
