SB Grand Elk train out of GR right now. If I counted the crossings correctly, it sounds like they were just blowing for 68th St.

GRHC - you know every night I can imagine he is in front of his computer screen sitting in his underwear swearing profusely and drinking Blatz beer combing the RailRoadFan website for grammatical errors.

The GRE just got two eastbound signals at Fuller at 0849. One for headroom and one to go east. They mentioned that they will not be out all that long today.

Sounds like GRE is heading back west over Fuller diamond in a moment - 11:52am.
Anyone know if they are still called Z634? I think that symbol is used in Illinois now.

GLC Northern Division action for the day:

398 and 399 left Cadillac for Clare around 10 AM with 3 pole loads, 2 empty centerbeams and 4 empty coke hoppers.

399 and 398 into Cadillac at 2 PM with 3 pole loads for McBain, an idler flat with each load, 2 coke hoppers and 14 sand hoppers.

Sounds like they made a run to Yuma this afternoon, I can hear them to the west.

GLC 399 left Cadillac for Clare at 9:50 AM with 8 sand cars.

GLC returns to Cadillac at 2:15 PM with 4 coke hoppers, a few sand cars and the passenger consist for Saturday's color tour to Boyne Falls. Looked to be 10 cars including the one recently painted in GLC colors. Was too far away to make out loco numbers, assuming the lead was 399.

Marquette, with engines 3389, 2004 and 2007, turned a Van's boxcar on the Sunny Side wye, in Grand Rapids, around 2:30. They dropped the box at Van's then proceed north to the industrial area between 6 and 7 mile. They picked up two empty rebar gons and one covered hopper form MI Rail. Then went north three locos and three cars. I followed them north to Sparta. They might have left more train further north but I did not see it. I had to get to a job in GR at 4:30
