11:40 - NB E251 with CN 1038/NS 4256/CN 8011/CN 8832 will take the Holly siding waiting for SB Q116

LansingRailfan! You mean "IC 1038!" Yesh, I missed this unit entirely! When I was at Moterm, Saturday September 7th, we left about a half hour before IC SD70 #1038 leading train 507 came in!!!! Now, it is gone! GEEZ!!!! I wasn't even at the tracks or on the computer yesterday! So much for this unit staying on trains 507/508 for a while!!!!

20:20 - WB B746 (B74631) with CN 3113/CN 3903/CN 8913 thru Durand on M1 - 3 engines and 91 potash loads = 382 axles/4600'
- this was a rerouted train as normally B74641 runs from Saskatchewan to BRC Clearing

A very short SB with two CN's and all I saw were autoracks just went past MP 22.5. He stopped at Opdyke Road, to flag it I presume. They seemed to be having problems with the gates there yesterday afternoon though Amtrak 351 seemed to fly by here earlier this morning, as did SB 515. Odd to have a train of this type in the morning these last few years.

They seemed to be having problems with the gates there yesterday afternoon though Amtrak 351 seemed to fly by here earlier this morning, as did SB 515. Odd to have a train of this type in the morning these last few years.

This ran as X116 with CN 5784/CN 2651 - thru Durand at 07:11 - GLC was holding for them at Pitt Jct.

21:02 - Amtrak departing east from East Lansing. After a delay from CSX operations, all they had was an advance approach on the diamond.
They called an approach for 225 and will stop at Okemos due to "police activity ahead."
21:18 - single police car at the Okemos Rd. crossing, departed as I pulled in next to the tracks.
21:41 - Amtrak proceeding east from Okemos Rd. Flint Sub MP 227.

03:21 - CN Z149 with SD70M-2/SD70M-2 elephant style flys thru town

04:54 - CN Q122 with SD70M-2/ET44AC thru Imlay met E271 at Emmett

05:49 - CN E271 thru Imlay city with SD70M-2/C44-9

06:55 - Amtrak 365 through town

Camera is to dark to get #’s at night. We shall see what day light brings to the table
