CMON GLC!!! Of all the events I can't make, GLC 393 has to be on this train!! They better "Pay me back" and have this loco on the "75 Birthday Excursion or the Polar Express" trains.penn central wrote:Robertrains wrote:strugglin wrote: GLC 393 is leading the Howell Melon Festival Train south with PM 1225 on the rear, in Durand Yard now waiting for clearance south after Amtrak.

Why is the "Fresh" GP35 on this train with 1225 and not the "Hamburg" train in June? I was there with my friend "Mazon" to ride and "Specifically" wanted to photograph GLC 393!!!! I even talked to the company before and "Requested" that loco! Now, when I can't even make it—and didn't even try to contact them—THEY HAVE THIS LOCO!!!!
Man I hope to get it one of these days!!!!
[/quote Don't get to worked up because its posted that the 399 is leading the train in another thread so im not sure whats on the train. lol.

Sorry about that guys! It was indeed GLC 399 on the train, I think it was wishful thinking on my part it was GLC 393 & I mistyped it in the post!Robertrains wrote:strugglin wrote:» Sat Aug 20, 2016 7:54 am GLC 393 is leading the Howell Melon Festival Train south with PM 1225 on the rear, in Durand Yard now waiting for clearance south after Amtrak.strugglin wrote:» Sat Aug 20, 2016 7:55 am.GLC 399 is leading the Howell Melon Festival Train south with PM 1225 on the rear, in Durand Yard now waiting for clearance south after Amtrak.penn central wrote:» Sat Aug 20, 2016 10:58 am Don't get to worked up because its posted that the 399 is leading the train in another thread so im not sure whats on the train. lol.
OK, "strugglin" posted both locos—one minute apart!!!! Which one is it! I'm actually hoping that GLC GP38-2 #399 is on this excursion! Can anyone verify? I can't make it!
OK, I'm VERY confused here and I want someone to help me explain this! I was watching ATCS and saw EJ&E 667 going east, coming off the GLC, had between 14-18 axels, 48mph, no defects past MP HBD 257.1, idk how going east at 48mph if it stopped and went BACK to Durand and went down the holly sub. I JUST checked ATCS and is showing something in the block where MP HBD 59.9 is, idk if that's 667 or not, checked earlier and something was heading north on the Holly as well (bout half hour or so ago) and if it DID go down the holly sub, someone report it down there or so causekc8bdr wrote:Just sitting down at computer turned on the Durand scanner feed on phone and hear EJ&E 667 southbound on the Holly. This is a bit of a guess but believe this is train 515, They had 122 axels at MP 59.9 12:41 AM.
The eastbound with 18 axles was the engines off the coal train running light to Flint.OK, I'm VERY confused here and I want someone to help me explain this! Exactly. We left on a food & beer run at the Iron Horse from 11pm-12am, and right after we left, we heard the BNSF engines heading east towards Flint, I just didn't post it, it was 18 axles because they picked up the SD70ACe DPU before leaving the yard.GTW6401 wrote:The eastbound with 18 axles was the engines off the coal train running light to Flint.OK, I'm VERY confused here and I want someone to help me explain this! The northbound off the Holly Subdivision was 391.
EJE 667 is on L514, which works between Flint and Pontiac during the overnight hours.
