CN Updates November 2016

CN 8819 & 2701 west by Durand, autoracks up front, then mixed freight, I'm guessing it's 501, 131 cars at 8:50pm.

Amtrak 26 & 126 on 364 Bluewater arrived Durand 10:08pm late, departed east 10:10pm.

We're gonna wait on the 391 now.

Are you sure the 3rd unit out is CN 3805 and not 3005? Or is it BNSF 3805?? Because there doesn't appear to be a CN 3805

I caught CN 6223 (Correction GTW 6223) , southbound, engine lite at Williams Lake at 6:45 AM.

Edit to add:

OK make that GTW 6223 and is returning north with 9 cars. at 7:40 AM. Not sure of destination, They had come east on the Flint Sub before turning south on the way to Pontiac.

Solo CN on autoracks east thru Durand 8:40am.

GTW 6223 in CN Paint came off the Holly Sub east towards Flint 8:55am.

Autorack train south down the Holly Sub at 1:45pm, we missed the power.

GTW 5936 & GTW 4916 (CN paint) went east through Durand light power at 1:56pm, we snagged our Blue Whale!

348 arrived and cut off from the train at Bancroft around 2:40pm, they were working Durand Yard now with a cut of cars, power is 4 units, IC/CN 2701, CN 8810, CN 2583, IC/CN 2704.

What were the other locomotive numbers on this train? I went to MTM station, Mt. Clemens! After waiting over two hours for a train (scanner = silent)─I was ready for lunch!!!! I thought I could make it back to the tracks before a train! Of course I didn't!!!! When the train came─I was finishing "Paying" for my Lunch at Engine House®!!!!

Shortly after I got back...it was "Closing Time!!!!" I photographed southbound train 533 at "Exactly" 4:00 p.m. It had CN SD70M-2 #8872 and two loaded "Well Car" sets!!!!

I suppose it could be. I was going watch which way it went at Durand (On ATCS) but was pulled away before it got that far north.

I caught 391 at Williams Lake Rd. About 9:05 PM CN 3013 Leading and CN 3061 trailing.

When 391 gave there mark-up, I could hear the dispatcher great, but not the crew. Drives me nuts .

I caught IC 2704 and CN 2593 (Engines lite) northbound at Williams Lake Rd. at 3:55 AM.

They had me a bit puzzled at first as they said the train number was 765 (They were in the yard at Pontiac). Anyway they are of course headed up to retrieve empty coal cars from HESR at Durand.

Train 515 went by at 10:25 am with 4925.

Train 451 went NB right after it at 10:30 with a 5700 and 2500 and a BNSF unit and a short train.

Amtrak 353 followed a few minutes later with an extra snack car in the consist for the holiday travel week I guess.
