Supposedly there’s an EB Grain train today out of Webberville. You guys might look for a green EB signal.

I’m nowhere near Webberville to let you know. You will have TO depend on Howell Bob if it goes

How many does that make for 708? Asking because I thought they left yesterday’s Cars After 708 grabbed?

Side note there’s a cut of cars for d705 in Ensel practically the length of the yard

Rhetec makes industrial compounds. They have a plant on CSX just west of Fowlerville and a plant on GLC in Whitmore Lake (not sure if the GLC location gets rail service anymore). They get plastic pellets and talc.

2742 was the 3rd unit behind 3203+751 on D70506. 68 of their reported 191 cars are to be set off at Lansing, plus a pick up as well so they will be there awhile. Will be interesting to hear the reported axle count between Lansing and GRP. For DriveJon, Rhetec is a plastics plant west of Fowlerville and just east of the DD at MP 64.0. D708 is in the siding at Fowlerville now switching the plastics plant there at 15:11.

When was the cut for 705? And where/what is Ensel because Google Maps won’t show me.

Ensel yard is the CSX yard on the west side of Lansing between Turner and MLK.

I guess I’m a bit confused. Where was D708 last reported? I’m getting different answers from different rail fans

To unconfuse you, here is the latest as of 16:24, (which would RIGHT NOW as I type. D708 is now leaving Fowlerville, will stop west of Howell to set off the few cars he has in his train, go power light to the Brighton siding, pick up the 56 cars they left there yesterday for GLC, put them in the Howell siding, go back down the main and pick the cars in the GLC transfer track at Ann Pere, go west and pick up the cars they are leaving west of Howell and go back to Lansing. Try and not get confused anymore today because you wont get anything more accurate than this.

17:00 update in Lansing. The tail end of D705 is blocking Larch, North and Turner street crossings. The power has pulled the pickup cars and is tying them on to the consist, now blocking MLK.

Edit: 17:35- they had two cuts to pick up, including cars which had been spotted on the 2nd main. They are about to back down with the second cut into the main train.

D705 heading west, Lansing Airport Road, 18:15.

D705-06 @ 6:47pm westward reported by the DD mp CH104.3 with 948 axles & 13,766 feet long. CSX engines #3203 + #751 + #2742 & 233 cars.
D705-06 @ 7:36pm westward reported by the DD mp CH126.3 with 948 axles & 13,728 feet long.
(Footage differences can be attributed to how precise the magnetic transducers that detect the wheel flanges are spaced or train speed variations while being scanned by the HBD equipment).

Holy shnikeys that’s a land barge. These trains are Getting massive and often times requiring two crews due to running out of time. I wonder if we will see q328-9 again?
