Massive tie work going on between Durand and East Durand. Seems like every time I railfan CN theres always track work

1. CN L501 finally gets the track and time and clearance to Flint at 12 noon in Durand
2. CN A492 is right on its heels in Durand

Two westbounds are supposedly sitting in flint and

Q116 is somewhere between Lansing and Durand

There's also another eastbound in Battle Creek as well. Think it's the M396

1300 ish: CN Q116 with two grain cars, auto racks and intermodal takes the Chicago wye. One huge train as well

1320 CN M399 with a CN Thundercab M-2 and with a P5. Train had a advanced approach through Durand

I raced by bicycle to get to see northbound train 382 at Masonic Road, Fraser crossing about 4 p.m. It had a CN SD70M-2 and CN "Gevo!" Now, a few carts back had a gondola's wheels smoking! WOW!!!! Must have been a stuck brake shoe! The train stopped for about a half hour! I did not take pix of this train. What happened?

My "Brown 40" is coming to an end in two days!!!!

OK, I saw this train by bike! Probably is my last train of 40!!!! CN ET44AC #3088 and CN ES44AC 2875. It had 116 cars and crossed Masonic Road, Fraser, at 1:01 p.m.

My "Brown 40" is coming to an end tomorrow!!!!
