Yeah, wow. I didn't think 6-axle power was allowed on the run-around.

At 16:15 CSX 3019 leading and CSX 308 trailing were pulling a loaded coal drag along the St. James river on the Viaduct into downtown Richmond, VA.

A string of empties was on the other track heading out of town at about 15:45 but I missed their power.

Amtrak got a car at Ivanrest.
This is my life. There are many like it, but this one is mine.

23:00 EST P37015 JUST GOT EC1 TO PROCEED AT RESTRICTED SPEED TO LAMAR. AMTK 10 LEADING. Q32727 SITTING AT LAMAR WAITING TO GO WEST WHEN P370 CLEARS. TV CREW AND CSXT OFFICIALS STILL AT IVANREST.

23:24 UPDATE.....P37015 NO APPARENT DAMAGE THAT I SAW. Q32715 HAS CSXT 8520,7541 AS POWER. 35 TO SET OFF IN HOLLAND. ALSO HEARD BNSF 6099?? GET EC1 SB FROM POWER PLANT TO HOLLAND. RN WAS CALLING THEM D80215. MUST BE ANOTHER COAL DRAG HEADED TOWARDS WEST MI FROM PORTER.

just to note about jt's photo of 700 dropping off the lumber at standard.
the 4 axle was the power for monday's d700, 700 tied up at waverly on 4 tk iirc
and taxied home from waverly. the 2 boxes and 4 axle was used to keep the 6
axles off the standard spur track. 6 axles are not allowed to operate on the spur.
great shot of the switch jt, but the local with the farm in the backround is still # 1 :D :D :D
