A northbound just arrived into Pontiac at 2130 with CN 2630 and all autoracks.

397 is currently in Flint with the 2626 leading. They are meeting an eastbound with CN 5721 leading if I heard right.

I saw train 529 southbound at 12:15 a.m. in Fraser with SD60F #5548! I like these "Cowl" units! This is my first time seeing one on a GTW Local train! Will they return to Pt. Huron "Long Hood Forward," or Wye the loco at Milwaukee Junction?

Cowl units can't lead LHF. So, they'll either pair it with a second unit or wye it MILW Jct.

Yes they can lead LHF. They are restricted to 25 MPH. 529 has been turning their power at Milwaukee Jct. and running LHF to Moterm. Cowls have led LHF plenty of times on 950 and 513 out of Pontiac.

I'd like to check that out! I haven't photographed them running that way yet! I know since there's no ditchlights on the rear—they are restricted to 25! They look cool with that "One Light!" I should go see that from Hilton Road soon! Would anyone know if plans are to keep using SD60Fs?

No, 12:15pm. It generally arrives at Moterm in the early afternoon hours.
