Going down the tracks and not stopped

CSX track crew spent the day working in the Ensel area. Lots of crossings are torn up in the Lansing area with bundles of new ties waiting to be inserted and new pavement laid.

Bad news, ladies and gents. My desk with a delightful view of the tracks at CP-MA is about to be moved. My entire office will be moving to a building in downtown Lansing sometime this fall. Till then, the reports will continue!

CSX N801 through Porter 18:49 ET. On the Grand Rapids Sub now.

BNSF 9064 leading

N801-17 is currently stopped at Riverside.
Sounds like P370-19 will go onto #2 track behind N801 and both will wait for Q327.
Once Q327 clears Benton Harbor, P370 will back past the switch and take #1 track to Riverside, and once they clear Riverside, N801 will follow P370.

I bet at times like this they kinda wish they'd left the crossover at Gray in.

P370-18 with IDTX 4619 departed St. Joseph at 9:31 pm and went into Benton Harbor.
Q327 was clear of Benton Harbor at 9:52 pm and is now climbing St. Joseph hill with 9600+ ft. of train. Sounds like CSXT 480 leading.
P370-18 is now headed east through Benton Harbor.
N801 is sitting at Riverside.

P370-18 with IDTX 4619 leading was by Riverside at 10:02 pm and is now going through Watervliet.
N801-17 with BNSF 9064 leading is now departing Riverside.
Q327 seems to have left my scanner range....probably around DD91.9 now.

Late night train by South Lyon 10 mins ago, information and video from a friend. None of my symbol lookups return results for trains in the system. If anyone knows the symbol, would be appreciated.

It appears that Q329 is running with the 2428/5481 pair again, heads up for Q327 later this afternoon.

Q327-18 shows in the siding at New Buffalo

Q326-19 is going into Michigan City siding for Amtrak

Also, a W001 in the yard at GR..Should be the CSX 6025 and 3 pass cars.

V97715 with 277+531 for power and 91 cars. Grain empty for Grand Ledge. By Howell at 01:44. Q32819 took a hit for him for a bit at Lake Odessa and because of that did go east by Howell until 06:30. 5305+3013 with 106 cars Q32919 went west at 08:52 with the power already reported and 62 cars. At least 42 more to pick up at Lansing from yesterdays D708.
