CSX Train Location Updates: April, 2020

NB D735 clearing Plymouth diamond. Missed the engines, but looks like a pretty long train.

UPDATE: ALMOST caught up to the front of it on my way home. After set off of about 30-35 cars, finished clearing 7 Mile at 15:50. About 120-125 cars to Wixom after set off.

Q326-12 @ 2:32pm was reported by the DD mp CG44.2 with CSX engines #293 + #123 & 87 cars & hearing him at 3:30pm working in Holland. He had done the same thing yesterday dropping off some cars. Is this something new for Q326 to be doing & wondering if this has anything to do with Q328 & Q329 being eliminated or with D700 not running today (Sunday would be the start of D700's work week)?

With Q328 and Q329 no longer running, all traffic now goes west. D700 will now be running out of Holland (along with D702 which will replace Y121), so Q326 and Q327 will be picking up and setting out all Holland traffic rather than D700 running to Grand Rapids.

What is D702?

The new local that runs out of Holland. It replaces yard job Y121.

Also, D700 was west by Bangor at 12:59am with 2 tank cars for Hartford, then went back lite east at 1:41am.

d70712 arrived lansing 7am, ran to Grand Rapids at 1:30-4am. d70813 set for noon lansing.

That jives with the ATCS monitor. When I fell asleep it showed WE Lake O Lined siding to main and cleared all the way to FOX. Also showed the EE Lake O lined from the ABS blocks to the WE Lake OK cleared and lined for the main. Which was a little confusing. But I got the idea D707 was probably coming from Lansing to work Lake O then continue west to GRP.

I kinda figured this could be the new plan (the option I thought of I didn't like) to get cars between Lansing and Grand Rapids after Q328/329 quit but wasn't sure. We will see if they keep this pattern up.

D70813 departed Howell west at 16:50 with 4035+4046 and CN 5696 from Peaker and 41 cars for tonight's D707 pick up. Best as it gets here now although we did have GLC and a Webberville grain empty by the house on Easter Sunday.
