What's the difference between Z149 and Z147?

We did used to get Z147s from Montreal. They were stacks and racks and would generally terminate in Flint. Stacks for Moterm, racks for GM. If they did have any stacks for further west, Z149 would pick them up and forward them to Markham.

Now it seems like the stacks are combined in Canada on one Z149 and we are getting an E271 every day with racks for Michigan.

507 is slowing down out back at MP 22.5 for Amtrak 355, which should have been passing it at the same time but didn't. I bet that 116 is also being held up by Amtrak 355 in Pontiac. They must be having problems with the equipment in the cold weather.

Whose idea was it to put Main 1 as the Amtrak track but the new depot in Pontiac off of Main 2 again? Probably an MBA and not a railroader.

Yep, Amtrak 355 passed MP 22.5 at 6:45 pm and now at 6 pm 116 is following it on Main 1 down the Hill slowly.

Grain train currently in Durand. Power move out of Flint yard took the High Wye and backed through the Holly sub into the yard.

1:20 PM Grain train pulled through south out of the yard and is now currently backing up onto the High Wye. When they clear, they will continue westbound

251 passed MP 22.5 at 1:50 pm. Short train, mostly covered hoppers today.

A SB 513 with 4907 passed MP 22.5 at 5:15 pm with a couple tank cars.

507 went past at 4:55 pm with a short train.

And at 5:07 pm what looked like 508, sans any containers, went past MP 22.5 with a short train too. It passed 507 in Pontiac.

No Amtrak 355 today, Cancelled around 2:40 because of the weather when 350 arrived in Pontiac. Amtrak 352 is also canceled. And Amtrak was doing so well the last two days during the real storm too.

This was WB G882 with CN 2938/CN 3342. That pair was on M382 on 01/08 and M383 on 01/07.

251 passed MP 22.5 at 11:04 pm. The GP38 was a 5800, maybe 5817, an ex-original GTW locomotive.

If I remember correctly, 5817 is one of those Remote Control units that are used in hump service down in Flat Rock.
