It's nice that they have some more detailed rules regarding these circumstances than we had in 70's and 80's. We didn't have the two track light rule or "within 25 miles." Probably why rule books are much "thicker" now than they used to be, trying to cover more "what ifs." We were often stuck with what used to be Rule 108: In case of doubt or uncertainty, the safe course must be taken.
Safe Course is always dependent on if the train is on time, crew is short of time, etc
I drove through Holland this evening. No movements down the Hamilton Branch today and lots of good snow plowed up over crossings. It’ll make for some good 10mph drift busting tomorrow!
NB mixed freight just turned east at Plymouth. UP 8488 + 3087 + CSX 15 + 494 + 47 cars of mixed freight, 45 double stacks, 24 singles, and even 1 TOFC.
Interesting... haven’t seen TOFC on what sounds like Q132 before...

132 and 150 seem to go the long way a lot. Not sure about 131 and 151.
