CN Train Location Updates - December 2022

SB Train 515 just went past MP 22.5 on the Holly with 5456 again at 7:54. A lot of boxcars for Chrysler Mount Clemens.

I too wonder at the logic of extending 515's run all the way to Mount Clemens. That is a long ways by railroad track from Pontiac Yard. There must be politics or union stuff involved with this, though railroad logic is not always our logic.

Train 116 just passed MP 22.5 on the Holly. Long train, two CN's as power, mostly autoracks, a lot of ZIM "The Z Factor" newish containers on it.

WB A491 or X271 w CN 3065/CN 3208 sitting on the track closest to Bristol Rd at 15:25. Durand block of cars from an earlier L500 is on the head end.

Departing at 15:26 and lined as far as W Flint. There’s a G/R for an EB at W Flint.

SB autorack train with a single CN unit up front and one in the middle just passed MP 22.5 on the Holly at 9:17 am.

SB Train 515 just passed MP 22.5 on the Holly at 9:40 am, a couple hours later than its usual time.

Z149 west clear mp220 at 09:56. CN duo #5664 + #2606 with a funky writing of it at least on north-facing side.

Edit: 2606 was the trailing unit. Not 2608. Per friend's live recording on south-facing side of how I saw it, the number didn't look fixed/corrected as it does on the north-facing side. I didn't get pics or videos of it.

L533 worked Chesterfield and Mount Clemens 08:00 - 9:00. (GTW 5933).

L515 working MC at 11:00. (CN 5456).

M382 (CN 3847) held at South Mount for near a half an hour while L515 finished work at Chrysler.

L515 departed for Nolan at 12:15. Lots of chemicals today for Polyterm.

M385 by Mount Clemens depot at 13:40.
