302 is at Cowling right now on the main with 4189, 4206, NS 3327 & NS 5023 with a little over 100 cars.

IIRC it was about 3:30 this am when they came down.

The 120 crew has been bringing the train partway south and the 302 crew continuing on later in the morning. Some days they have a third crew taking it back to Kalamazoo.

501 approaching Schoolcraft northbound at 4:10. 4017 leading, 3829 and about 17 cars.

4189 & 4206 are at Cowling, on the main at 6:30, with about 96 cars.

4189 & 4206 at Cowling this morning at 6:00. They're on the main with a lot of coil cars on the front, and a string of 20+ green IBT box cars towards the back.

4002 & 3829 had 30 cars in tow north at 3:30, stopped at 4th street and did IP's switching which took 15 minutes. The Elkhart lumber customer starts rail service in about 2 weeks. So bulkhead flats will be in the mix then. Elk has requested 2 more 4 axle locomotives for the future business. 3928 would be a good one paired with 3829 since its been repainted in new WSOR red and silver with the logo 35 years of service to customers and communities on its long hood. What a beauty.

4124, 4125 & 4190 are at Cowling with a little over 50 cars.

501 is at Park with the 4002 & 3829 waiting on a track crew to finish working just north of Heimbach Rd.

302 is at Cowling on the main with the 4190 leading the 4125 & 4124. They'll need those 9,000 horses as they have approx. 140 cars this morning. Add on another 15 cars and the train would be signal to signal long, from Cowling to Park.

4125 & 4190 are at Cowling holding down the Fort until the crew arrives.

I think it's interesting how they already have the clear signal when the crew hasn't even arrived yet and come on duty. That puts a lot of faith in NS that they won't hop the tracks and have to re-route their trains hahaha.

302 northbound thru Three Rivers at 3:30 and last car of train is the first bulkhead flat of lumber for new customer in Elkhart. Train was 80 cars long.

4125, 4189 & a NS high hood GP are at Cowling this am with a good size train

4189 & 4124 light engines northbound from CP Park at 4:35 today. I have not seen them run light back north during the week in a loooooong time.

Sounds like grand elk is south at 44th st in grand rapids.

4125 running solo southbound at M-86 @ 4:15 today.

Grand Elk had a 155+ car monster on their hands yesterday am. The train would not fit signal to signal between Cowling and Park so they had to split the train. 1/2 of it in the siding, while the rest of the train was on the main, all at CP Cowling. They re-coupled it all together and went south about 6:30am.

They returned north yesterday evening about 6:45 with 4206 leading, then a WSOR unit & 4125 with about 107 cars.

5:45 am. 501 is switching IP in Three Rivers right now. 4009 is the power.

GDLK has the ex-GTW 4433 in tow. It's a high nose GP9. Said to be headed to Hamilton Farms in Wayland.
