speaking of A472...per Ken Lanovich, FPON

A47291 departed Markham Yd 10:00 with CN 2583 IC 6260 and 54 cars for Sarnia. E276 departed Blue Island Yd 10:55 with BNSF 4945 and 58 empty racks. on another note Q199 departed Markham Yd 19:00 last night for Fort Frances and Prince Rupert with CN 8019 BCOL 4654. Many sd40's returning to service and GP9RM 7227 is waiting to be serviced at Woodcrest.

Where is blue island yard? Is that train headed for battle creek?

yes..that train could go anywhere in the system in michigan and ontario...the BNSF power will be cutoff

ok. i havent seen bnsf on autoracks thru lansing in a while but regularly thru the summer i saw autorack trains with UP power. Maybe they would put that power on. They wyed a BNSF and U.P. unit latchup last night in durand.

For anyone in Port Huron or Canada, 398 rolled thru Durand and Flint within the last hour.
Also, 396 is working the yard at the moment in Durand.

Anyone in Battle Creek, 397 is on the way, after having done a crew change with 396 just west of Durand.

CN has been having crews swap trains and return to origination cities a lot this week. Maybe they are finally cutting back on using cabs.

502 is in the yard in Durand now. Came in with just a U.P. unit I believe based on what I heard on the scanner.

Another eastbound is coming into town, lined to Oak st. I'll advise later if I hear what train it is

Update from FPON. yesterdays A47291-25 terminated in Torontos MacMillian Yard at 15:06. power for the train was
CN 5705 and CN 2437

It would be pretty early for 490. It's usually in the yard between 9pm and 1am. It used to come in around Amtrak

124 cars including a CN articulated covered hopper.

Train was by Brantford @ 12:15. I suspect it's across into Michigan by now.

Yea, it really does seem like the traffic has picked up. Yesterday seemed less busy. Today is like Thursday was, pretty good!

Southbound headed down the Holly from Durand to Pontiac right now. Didnt catch the train symbol and not sure on the power but wanted to let ppl down that way know.

CN 302 off the EJE and onto South Bend Sub at Griffith 17:50 IC 2713 BCOL 4646 and IC 9626 with 120 cars

385 got the signals for Shoreline about 15 minutes ago. They will be following 766 and meeting 491 along the way.

384 is up around Haven with a track warrant good to Tappan.

For anyone in Durand, Port Huron, Sarnia, etc...
302 just went thru e.lansing. As a previous post mentioned, BC Rail 4646 as 2nd unit.

Also worth noting, there were 3 eastbounds by e.lansing between 715 and 830 ahead of Amtrak. Flint was congested according to TD2... Amtrak lost 56 mins. there. Amtrak followed 394 out of Flint for anyone waiting for 394 or those other eastbounds out to the east of here.

354 has 90222 on the front and I think has 30 on the rear. 491 is in Ferndale getting about ready to do their work at Moterm.
