Re: CN Updates April 2020
A little late to add, but about 20 minutes after the meet happened at Marcelleus the westbound freight that met our short caught a car trying to beat the train between the first and second units on Savage Road between Marcelleus and Wakelee. Occupants were ejected from the vehicle and it sounds like air med was called. Crossing was a rural road protected only by crossbucks.

Hey David Lang, the engine leading is still "Illinois Central®" and CN refers it to "IC 9618!" I'd rather have it in "Black" IC colors of course!!!! Since you asked, I replied about this on page 13 of this thread! I included pix which show the true "CN 9618" which is a GP40-2LW!!!! I was hoping you'd see that.

The one that has been running on train 514 lately is "IC 9618" that David Lang keeps referring to as "CN 9618!" I answered his question on page 13 of this thread─
but I don't think he saw that.

Re: CN Updates April 2020
Even though both engines are CN Painted, it can be hard to see tiny reporting marks when observing a distance while the big CN Paint scheme is very visible.

IC 9618 is what I should have said all along.
Thanks for the correction.

You are Welcome David Lang!!!! Yes, from afar it is hard to tell! I am glad CN still uses the "Reporting Marks" of the railroads that are painted over!
