M326-12 @ 18:50 was advised by the Dispatcher not to cut their train to take it in halves over the hill since L301-12 with CSXT engine #8096 is headed thier way to assist them over the Saugatuck Hill.

L301-12 @ 19:08 told the Dispatcher they'll cut away from their train inside Waverly & head to M326.

I gotta wonder why they stalled out I don’t think it was a broken knuckle. It could’ve been too much tonnage/wet rails for the amount of power. Or it could be one of the engines cut out on the hill.

Maybe Tom will hear some chatter on the radio and fill us in.

Sounded like they just stalled due to wet rail conditions. The current rule is trains over 10,000 tons are to either have help to get over the hill, or, cut it in half & take half at a time over the hill. Maybe, that 10,000 ton limit should be lowered?

Just had an EB go through Howell with what appeared to be a single GE and all covered hoppers. Very short. Not sure if this is L305 or a very short grain move.
