Well that's not very common for the Owosso crew to run all the way to Cadillac, is it?

Owosso crew came up to get color train. Train will tie down in Mt.Pleasant.

The crew made it into mount pleasant around 3:30. They are tied down now just north of the station.

Left Cadillac around 1330. Assumed they were up here for the color train. They left town fast, I couldn't catch up to them.

Color train from Mt Pleasant arrived in Cadillac at 1235.

Leaving Cadillac for Mt Pleasant at 1600.

Color train south through mount pleasant at 7:20pm. Looks like they are headed back to Owosso.

Congrats!! This is a shout out to one of my Railfan friends, he was in owosso earlier today and caught a power move from Durand to owosso and had the following

4 engine consist
GLC 398
GLC 393 "10th Anniversary"
GLC 385 & GLC 399. It appears 393 must be done getting worked on, and lucky him for catching it. Hopefully I'll catch it in the near future as well.

They brought an empty Grain Train up from Osmer, dropped it in San Yard then ran light to the shops

Yeah, they repaired it and put it back in service.. It wouldn't of been on that train if it wasn't.

390 and 392 at Cadillac engine shed . Several strings of LPG tank cars in North Yard. Some for the propane place and the others for the Kalkaska gas plant. A string of ex-sand covered hoppers and a couple plastic pellets covered hoppers.

Selma Yard has three tracks of coke hoppers and one track of mixed freight going south including what looked like a couple 2-bay covered hoppers.

By the engine shed is a tank car for transloading and three coke hoppers )repairs?).

Kalkaska had 2-3 methanol tank cars.

Great Lakes Central south through Mount Pleasant 3:20pm

GLC 395 Leading
GLC 396

17 hoppers (3 bay TSBY, and ATW)
1 loaded centerbeam
4 Plastics hoppers
2 tie gons
11 tanks (3 DOT111+ 8 LPG)

35 total

They were northbound around 12:30pm, but I missed the car count.

390 and 392 left Cadillac towards Clare at 0930 with 3 pole loads, 7 tie gons and 11 tanks.

Heard them return at 1605.

Northbound out of Cadillac at 0935.




A loaded centerbeam is sitting in Selma Yard for you TC guys.

4 loads for TC (Amerhart) this week!! Should be a 4 car train for Traverse City. Impressive!

390 and 392 left Cadillac for Clare at 1150 with 1 tie load, 1 three bay hopper, 2 pole loads and 6 coke empties.

And they returned at 1720. Traffic lights wouldn't cooperate so I'm on the shade side. At least three loaded centerbeams in Selma Yard tonight.
