Now leaving southbound out of southend Wright Siding with the 6 cars blocked and 329 third out.

Shot them at Harrison Rd. They had 59 cars tonight. A lot bigger than normal!

It is railroad lingo for putting the train back together. Like taking 2 cuts and making them into 1.

GLC Crew went on duty at 0700 to run light engines up to Alma. In Alma, today's engineer on the MMRR will pilot them out to Breckenridge, put the grain train together, then pilot them back. Once they get back to Alma, the MMRR is done for the day and the GLC will most likely run this grain train straight through to Osmer.

08:54, light power is in Alma with MMRR hopping on.

12:18, Train is back into Alma. MMRR crew is off and waiting to realine mainline switches after the tail end clears town.

12:23, Train is clear of Alma with all switches lined back to the main. Highball to Osmer

12:41, change of plans. They are sitting south of Alma while waiting for contracted track work in Ithaca. Then they have some stop and flags as well. Not highballing yet. Since I am gonna relax in the AC for a bit, I won't hear them take off, so to anyone south of Alma wanting to catch it by any chance, I wish you the best of luck

I took a brief stroll up to Traverse City today for the Cherry Festival. I noticed lots of new ties waiting to be cut in along N Keystone Rd. Nice to see the investment!

Also, SRI passenger cars are stagged at on the north leg of the wye at Walton Jct.

Thanks for the report. I saw some of the ties spotted a while ago but due to being in a wheel chair after 7 mos. of the hosipital, I have a hard time getting my wife to take me back for some pictures.
