WB L302 just cleared Plymouth diamond. Missed the engines, but it appears to be a long train, maybe 100 cars or more.

Re: CSX Train Location Updates - June 2022
19:36 - L302-13 thru EE Brighton, aforementioned power, mid-train DPU pushing hard. Earlier I barely made out L305 taking the siding at Fowlerville, no surprise given that L302's 11,000' wouldn't fit in a siding around here.
Re: CSX Train Location Updates - June 2022
L30513 is in the siding at Howell for L302. After 302 gets by, 305 will pick up GLC cars in the transfer and return to Ogihara to pick up cars they left there going east.

Re: CSX Train Location Updates - June 2022
Wow, I thought L303 has some large lines of freight. Than I saw this post . Assumed most cars are empty for 2 engines to pull a 2.2 mile long train.

Re: CSX Train Location Updates - June 2022
Speaking of loads and empties, yesterday afternoon thru Brighton, L302-11's DPU was placed after the 79th car, with 114 cars behind it. Is it standard practice to place the loads ahead of empties to prevent string lining? I presume the DPU more or less separates the loads and empties.
Explains why I was able to pick them up so clearly! Regarding radios, any word of L302 having radio issues? On their way thru Brighton them and dispatch could barely talk to each other. Not sure if this had to do with tonight's weather.
