M327 stopped at Wells on the main and blocking 57th. Judging how quickly they stopped, must have gone into emergency.
Edit: air issue. Conductor is walking the train looking for the leak.
Also, today is the Holland 100 bike race. Not sure how early they start, but the train is blocking the 122nd Ave crossing, which is part of the route for the race. Might be some pissed off cyclists if they don’t get the train rolling soon.

Note: The wooden structure you see is the remnants of the team track loading dock on what used to be the M&J lead. The dock is located just east of the State Street grade crossing in Zeeland Michigan. Before the relocation of the M&J lead switch the track ran in front of the dock.

I was noticing when the train passed through Howell that many of the MWAX cars were consecutively numbered, so they must have been brand new. Despite the excellent up-close video by Adam, I was unable to see the built dates on any of the cars. These cars were not on M327 at Bangor this morning. Numbers in numerical order were 161,167,171,172,173,174,175,176,182,186,202. Anyone know where they were going to?

Martin Marietta has a facility in Manistee Michigan.
On 07/20/2024 @ 16:40 the track tamper and ballast regulator are parked on the east end of the M&J lead in Zeeland Michigan.

17:25 - L303-20 east thru CH 43 with 3242 and 5292 leading 92 cars (381 axles). They were talked by the signals at EE Brighton and will hold the main to meet L302 at South Lyon.
18:10 - L302-20 west thru CH 43 with 3231 and 3406 leading 55 cars (232 axles). They were talked out of the siding at South Lyon, neither train could've been going more than 10mph as they passed me.
Not sure the aspect at Green Oak, but they received a clear at CH 43 and at EE Brighton.
Thank you for the kind words Bob and Andy, I had searched the reporting marks in a webpage with "every FRA reporting mark" but could not find MWAX so I appreciate everyone who had told me they were Martin Marietta.
I had not noticed that they were consecutively numbered. I will keep an eye out for the build dates next I see a cut of these cars.
