To clarify GLC-391's post. GLC is in TC now, Beacon and not off to Amerhart (not everyone knows where you are referring to by simply stating "Amerhart", so just helping out here).

They went North this afternoon.
Edit: Erps. Didn't see the posts about it. Heard the units through Kingsley ay 17:00.
Heard the horns last night at the Holiday rd. crossing T.C. about 2145. Must have been headed to Amerhart to pick up the empty cars.
There were also 3 cars at Beacon, so probably there as well. Trains to TC 2 days in a row! AARR, are you seeing this, LOL!

Nb a little south of shepherd with 386, 398 & 399 about 1344. Old tsby hoppers on the head end, look like maybe the same cut that was at the ithaca bean plant when I came by this morning. 1 empty beam car, 2 poles. Another interesting car is an old csxt ballast hopper with ties in it. Kinda different. And on the subject of ballast it looks like the Middleton has some new rock spread either side of 127.

The old ballast car w ties went out on Monday’s trip to AP along with about 30 other tie cars.

Quick TC area update- 2 cars (DJJX and ITFX) at Beacon. At the Amerhart yard in Bates, many more bundles of ties have been delivered. I counted at least 80 bundles (20 ties per bundle) that I could see in the two areas where they are staged. Also at least 3/4 mile of ties laid out along the tracks already (I walked just under 3/4 mile on the TART trail and they were laid out around the curve at least beyond there). There was a GLC crew just arriving (8:30ish this morning), and a Relam MOW machine pulling a little flat car. Went to Williamsburg at the runaround track, and there is more MOW equipment on the main toward the end of the track.
