Went through Pontiac around 12:35 pm.

508 rolling past MP 22.5 at 4:50 pm, a bit early today. A lot of steel. Loaded BLE ore cars front and middle, a ton of autoracks and containers on the rear. Two CN's.

WB CN clear the Escanaba River with a pair of SD60’s up front

L507 departing from Moterm in Ferndale Michigan.

CN 2269, 8882 and IC 3101.

Train 507 passed MP 22.2 at 7:05 pm going fast and with many containers tonight. The third unit, IC 3101, is a GP40, which is nice to see.

The signal at Opdyke is lined for a SB out of Pontiac, maybe 513 at this time.

EB (or SB) freight through Waucedah with an EMD widecab leader heading towards Powers. Totally caught us off guard but we got something in fading light.

18:15 - EB M356 41 from Symington Yard, Winnipeg, MB was thru Mishawaka, IN with CN 8948/CN 2628 - monster empty autorack train

P276 passed Amtrak on M1 at some point around East Lansing, but stopped at Okemos to let Amtrak pass. Nobody mentioned it so I'll throw it in here.
L500 preceeded Z148 at MP 205, they took M1 at Potterville headed to Snow Yard.
00:23 - Z148 thru East Lansing with 8929, 5641, and an inspection car leading intermodal and racks, they had M1 and stopped at Okemos.
00:37 - WB thru East Lansing with 3176 and a blue unit numbered 2060. They met Z148 at Okemos and had M2, manifest and racks.
01:19 - L500 thru East Lansing with 8948, 2628, and 2329 thru East Lansing, manifest and racks. They had M2 and stopped at Okemos with their tail end near Bouge St.
02:21 - WB with 8864, 5709, and 2285? thru East Lansing on M1 with manifest behind them, many tanks of different variety.
03:08 - WB thru East Lansing, no visual. They are on M1 and not meeting anyone in the area. They met L500 at Shaftsburg.

M356 was terminated in Battle Creek and became L500 with CN 8948/CN 2628

Q116 east clear mp225 M1 at 14:15. CN duo #3855 + #2998

M399 west clear mp225 M2 at 14:16. CN trio #8902 + #5629 + #8925. Don't personally often see these but the train contained some OCPX hoppers

M396 east clear mp225 at 14:34. CN duo #8022 + #3060

M385 through Common Rd. @ 16:04. CN 3133 & 2819 with 126 cars. Not wasting any time today.

Through Port Huron and into the tunnel about 1645. The string of empty centerbeam flatcars directly behind the power was a surprise.

There's another EB at the east end of the PH yard waiting for a signal to go east. If I had my scanner, I'd probably have a better idea if they're waiting for A492 to clear the tunnel, a WB to come across, or just for me to go home...

18:02 - E251 with 8936 and 2302 thru East Lansing on M1. They had 288 axles, 69 cars with no articulators among the racks and manifest.

116 just arrived at Moterm.
