Michigan Shore heading north at Riley St. Holland 11:57 AM. Anyone know where the covered gondolas with waste from the Muskegon power plant head to?

CSX takes them to GLC at Ann Pere/Howell. GLC takes them to HESR in Durand. HESR takes em up to essexville or something where they are dumping it in a much better containment area.

D708-23 departed Howell for Lansing at17:40 with 61 cars, the last 15 ash cars. Going east, they set off four more scrap gondola empties at Ogihara that were on D70522 yesterday giving a total of 15 empties spotted since last Friday. The eleven scrap loads still sit behind the track mobile where CSX can not reach them. This ups the count to 26 cars in the plant now.

D801-23 @ 12:28 got his EC1 to depart West Olive with BNSF engines #8787 + #5702 & empty coal cars(?). Due to a severely lagging Broadcastify for me on the east coast, I had missed him passing by the Holland Cam.

D707 takes care of Lansing to Lake Odessa at night, so basically y106 works the west half of GR-Lansing, and D707 works the east half.
