Crew was on duty the normal time. Approx 1330, heard them moving the power from #2 yard track to the mouse yard for repairs. Apparently they were both bad ordered from leaving the yard without attention first.

Crew for L303 is yarding M326, as they only had time to pull into 41 yard track down to the east end before expiring on HoS.

R597-25 @ 18:05 was called by Dispatcher. Sounded like dispatcher wanted R597-25 to give him a call back once they built an empty coal train and change EC1 later

R597-25 @ 19:30 was heard on the scanners with BNSF #6425, unknown what that unit is doing. Possible building a empty coal train for E800/801 crew.

20:15 - G090-25 west thru EE Brighton with 3007 and 5315 elephant style leading. I counted 87 cars.
Signal issues between South Lyon and Brighton delayed them significantly. The signals west of Brighton seem to be working, as I was able to watch the WAS at WE Brighton improve from a stop to an approach, and from an approach to a clear, as L302-25 exited the following blocks.

21:30 - Signal issues resolved, WE South Lyon comes in just fine. Maintainer released control back to the dispatcher.

G090-25 will follow westward from Lansing when L302-25 releases his EC1 for Lake Odessa/Grand Ledge.

R598-25 @ 00:29 westward reported by the Defect Detector mp CG44.2 Pearl, Mi with 550 axles. BNSF engine #6425 & CSX engines #3133 + #3459 & 130 empty coal cars & BNSF engines #8545 + #9264. The CSX #3459 has mechanical issues & will be set off in the west end of Grand Jct siding mp CG55.5 for M327-26 to pickup.

Then, head back east to set off CSX engine #3133 in the east end of Grand Jct & continue east to Wells siding with BNSF engine #6425 & either BNSF engine #8545 or BNSF engine #9264 and place 1 of them on the head end & 1 as the rear dpu for the empty coal cars that are tied down there.

Unfortunately, his job briefing earlier from the power plant in West Olive, Mi was broken up & the engines' order couldn't be heard. Possible 1 of the BNSF engines was also left in the east end of Grand Jct siding with the CSX #3133 to be the "pusher engines" for the next loaded coal train.

He’s building his train at this time. He will be picking up CSX engine #3459 from the west end of Grand Jct siding mp CG55.5 to tow to Chicago.
