WB L514 or R944 w GTW 5##3 (CN Paint) solo enters Durand Yard using the Port Huron Wye with a long train of cars for interchange with HESR and GLC at 23:44

CN is using Flint now for a lot more block switching, causing L500 to bypass Durand most nights.

M396/X396 used to set off blocks of cars in Kirk for A492 to take. Now they directly drop them all in Flint and Flint switches them up. Cars can go back west to BC or Durand, south to Pontiac, Flat Rock or Toledo or east to Port Huron.

09:29 - WB P365 departs Durand on M2. They were held up by CN in Flint.

EB Q122 was occupying Main 2 and blocking Amtrak from progressing westward. Then WB M397 had to clear out of the way of P365.

LansingRailfan, this engine is an SD40-2 not "SD-69!" I never even heard of that kind!!!!

Alright, another engine may be wrong! Northbound train 382 (which I think I heard just pass by) is mentioned on "Heritage Units" (listed CN '100' #3229 second...by DocBentley), in River Rouge, 10:53 a.m. This guy lists CN 8244 as leading the train! What engine is this? The horn even sounded different!!!!

NB 515 with 5430 went past MP 22.5 at 2:05 pm with a long train today.

Amtrak 350 slowly followed 515 into Pontiac. They must have both been on Main 1. The bad weather went through here already.
