18:07 - G757-27 west thru CH 49 with 90 loaded grain cars behind 3124, 4568 (OLS), and 559.
19:07 - L302-28 entering the siding at EE Brighton with 76 cars (324 axles) behind 5391, 5468, 6531, and 2037. They have CSX 483192 in the consist.
19:29 - L303-28 east thru WE Brighton with 160 and 4549 leading 92 cars (381 axles).
19:40 - L302-28 out of the siding at WE Brighton.
In addition, I had neglected to mention that U303-25 had two CSX "big logo" gons, 483426 + 1, too dark for the second number but I had ..426 committed to memory. Also, L303-26 had 300 axles or 72 cars.

L301-24 cleared Zeeland Michigan around 18:39 and has a third engine in this evenings consist. I believe it was CSX engine #6566 in tow.

When and how did CSX engine #6566 get to Waverly yard in Holland Michigan?

Side note that 6566 is one of those newly released GP40-3 units from Metro East Industries, which retained its original EMD cab during the rebuild. I approve of this

Late report that L301 was Grand Rapids-bound from Waverly Yard yesterday around 16:50 with the aforementioned cars from the St. Joseph run plus the addition of a couple shortie covered hoppers and 6ish tanks from Muskegon, 3 gondolas, and 4 larger covered hoppers. One thing they did not have with them were the dozen or so loaded scrap gons which Y121 (6566) was bringing down the dock track about 15 minutes before, along with their caboose. Most of Holland was a gridlock at this time and I’m sure the train had something to do with it.

Unrelated to all of this, MPC Cashway lumber in Lansing had a centerbeam on their spur ready for pickup on Wednesday this week.

He’ll be taking Grand Jct siding mp CG54 & tie down.
