For you folks at Plymouth, Q334-07, with what sounds like CSX 90 leading, by Fowlerville at 11:08 with 230 axels. X500-05 with STL&H 5651 leading by Howell around midnight last night if anyone saw what else may have been with it. The rare STL&H unit has run through Michigan several times recently.

X500-05 had STLH 5651-CITX 3100-SOO 6031 (CP 240-05)
X500-06 has 2 CP 6000 series SD40-2 (CP 240-06)

D801 west out of Wyoming Yard, CSX 5488 leading. L326 is still in the yard having issues. Apparently their train is not ready and now they have to cut away from one unit and wye the rest of their power.

There has got to be something to this as this is the second time in the last few days X500 has had three units, a short train, and each time a Soo Line and a CITX lease unit in the consist. Second order of Soo Line's SD60s 20 year lease was up recently. Perhaps they are going to Canada for lease return. Lease units could be relocating as well.

Actually its just the way things are happenning based on power utilization. CP is power short like the other class ones right now and has brought many units out of storage which includes about 15-18 CITX leasors and more coming out, almost all the SOO SD60/SD60Ms that were ALL in storage and many SD40-2s that were also in storage. Bensenville likes to keep power sets together and turn them as this same set went west on CP 243-03 (CP 33T 04) a few days ago with the SOO leading. The SOO SD60s are outright owned by CP now from what I have got and the SD60Ms are going to be purchased also as the plans are to rebuild them. This may change but this was talked about in detail on another group about 6 months ago. The SOO units are all online and working not DIT being returned.

The X500-07 has CP 6027 and CP 6029 and hasnt moved since being called at 1000

If you want to see SOO units the NS Detroit District is averaging about 2 units every 24 hours plus the leasors and SD40-2s showing up..36T-25T and 33T are best bets.

Actually, he was out and running. Saw him near Stevensville about 5pm with a short train, 6027 in the lead. Both in CP paint, 6029 with a multimark, 6027 without (also, sidenote..6027 was the regular number Athearn did on their CP SD40-2 for years)

Ok if you want specifics since by the time I posted the info it was already old..train was OD at 1000..departed at 1306 and didnt get by CP 506 until 1503..so it wasnt onto the CSX "movement" wise until after then.

CP has been changing up symbols on their side in the last month..240 has actually run as X500 somedays..I can confirm the CITX 3100 as 240 but the second one was per the power lineup..if someone actually wants details message me off board

No biggie...didn't know when (or how) you checked, and your post was only 2 hours before I saw him, so that's why I said he was out and running :)
