CSX Train Location Updates/Heads Ups -- 6/27/10

Today's Q-390 will have a pair of BNSFs. It arrived at Garrett at 1:35 AM, so it may be well past Ohio by now, but that doesn't mean somebody to the east won't appreciate the heads up.

K-695 with an ICE leading two CITXs was by West Kellog, NY at 3:19 AM. Probably getting close to Ohio if it didn't get held up at Buffalo.

There were three eastbound ethanol trains that passed through Ohio earlier this morning with ICE, DME, CITX or Soo power (K-638, K-694, K-684) as well as a K-652 that arrived at Selkirk so it will probably head west tomorrow or Tuesday at the latest.

Crew at Buffalo for K-695 (ICE 6408, CITX 3062, CITX 3075) called for 1:00 PM. Train was past CP-393 at 12:25 PM. Crew will take train to Willard. No stop at Collinwood needed.

K-694 (ICE 6368, DME 6086, ICE 6101, ICE 6412) barreling through Cleveland as of 12:17 PM.

GRP Detroit Crew on Q334 today, will tie the down on the north side at Plymouth. Crew will get on Q335 at Plymouth, and ride with them west to Ensel where they will take over and take the train into GRP, while 335s crew taxies home. Meanwhile, yesterdays G352 (or 852) crew from the Webberville grain load, and who took the train as far as Carleton last night is expected to be the crew for todays Q327 train somewhere after the taxi ride from Walbridge. On the other hand, all this could change again at a moments notice. The things that you have to do when there aren't many crews left to run trains. Q33427 had CSX 5348 7676 for power today.

Same engine just came southbound with a cut of about 10 cars. Most if not all were autoracks. I think it's CSX's car transfer to Sterling yard.

K694 at Alida, IN last evening. Sun was directly down the rail to the west. A soupy high-sun video is better than a soupy high-sun picture. Turn up the volume and hopefully you have some decent bass!

P-370-27 was delayed about an hour and a half at Livingston while crews cleared fallen trees from storms that blew threw earlier today.

Currently P370 is going by Hartford.

edit: at DD66.2 (McDonald, MI)at 10:09pm... no defects, 20 axles, 402 ft.
