I've gotten word that it's due to leave Altoona tomorrow at 7:00 or 8:00am. Not sure where it's going though. It will be westbound.

Chicago would be nice... Friday evening through Toledo would work well for me!

Wait - by "tomorrow" do you mean Friday 7AM?? (or Thursday since "tomorrow" is Thursday?)

It's been two years since I got the NS OCS and I'd love to get it again especially since the last time I got it it was raining. I live in Chesterton, IN so I'll keep my fingers crossed that it takes the NS Chicago Line.

I live about 30 miles north of the NS line where it goes through South Bend. I'll need to keep updated...hopefully it goes through on Saturday during daylight hours, or Friday evening. :) :)

Sorry, by "tomorrow" I meant Friday. I've got my days all mixed up :D I had higher hopes for the Belles tomorrow, but it looks like I have no way of getting them... I guess the OCS will have to suffice...

Is "Chicago" an assumption or based on actual knowledge because I've heard otherwise about the destination from a usually reliable source...

Chicago would work really well for me, but my source (who's usually right) says Cleveland/Bellevue/Columbus and down the "rathole". Like you said, "Ve shall see"...

Interesting nothing on TO yet...

I *think* the routing has been confirmed - down the Rathole via Bellevue and Columbus. According to TO, it's due in Cleveland around 1400, however updates outside of the West Slope region are scarce.

EDIT: For what it's worth, it was by Alliance as of 1305. Cleveland at 1430.

Through Berea at 3:15, blocked by a train on NS and CSX as it came by, my brother is chasing it west now, I will post more updates as he lets me know.

I'm STILL hearing conflicting info on where it's headed so a definitive report of "Toledo" or "Bellevue" would be much appreciated if you could! Won't know for sure 'till he gets by Vermillion and either turns for Bellevue or goes straight!
