GRE worked Friday, must be the rail at Caledonia was still intact . There's an inbound CH and 2 tanks plus a cut of outbounds on the interrchange tracks. 371 is waayyy south this morning. The 24 is out of the house with a high green EB.

GRE back by 9am.

Q334 went east shortly there after. Y106 is floating around the east side. Q327 went west.

The crew that was expected to run todays Q195 was instead taxied to Plymouth to get a G67310 grain empty that was originally intended to be Flint/Saginaw bound but rerouted west. Next question, No Q195 today? Todays Q32614 had CSX 5215 5247 1301 for power and met Q33514 CSX 8814 (conrail) 7761 at Howell at 15:55. That must have been Q326, not Q334 that amtrak1007 saw this morning.

D80115 east through Zeeland approx 6:15pm. Lite power with CSXT 327 leading. Had to go restricted speed past 76 ave as yet another truck was hung up there but truck is gone now.

MQT Z15115 coming south into Wyoming Yard 6:25pm, 3003 leading with I believe they said "tom"... chatting with east tower, said everything is going well at MQT except he's working with Wootton

G67310 tied up on 6 tk. Broken rail causing issues in the middle of Marquette St. Trains having to get blocks to pass between Seymour and the Yard.

2106 Update
Z15115 recrew on board, ready to go north. Will be held for the shiny train. Both will be walked over the broken rail in the Marquette St crossing.

On my way home tonight I heard RN (TAK) giving G67310 the block to run west bound on # 2 at Seymour. Also heard the yardmaster discussing with the inbound Z15115 crew about taking the grain up with them seeing they where going to have to wait on the recrew due to the broken rail. It sounded like they where at least considering the possiblity as it would have saved them from coming down tomorrow. Yardmaster was also telling the Z51515 crew that someone at CSX rerouted this empty grain train at Plymouth to GR. It's original detination was Flint but it got rerouted as it approached Plymouth.
Sounds like the signal maintainer was the one who found the broken rail as Y22115 noticed not all the crossing signals and gates activated when they where heading to the west side. The maintainer and the RN where both trying to get someone from the track dept. on the phone so they could get someone out there to fix the broken rail. Sounded like a fun night on the ol' CSX tonight.

Well, that completes the "quad-fecta." (if there was such a word).

Westbound train into GR (D801), southbound train into GR (Z151), eastbound train into GR (Q335) and northbound train into GR (Grand Elk)...all within an hour.

sooo, due to 90413 being B/o'd by the engineer (no heat) P37015 will be hand throwing the crossovers, the west Wye switch AND stopping and Protecting Wealthy, MQT and Front St. Furthermore will be talking to track dept guy to be walking speed across the break.
